Knowling House: Wonderful Works

For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.                                                                                        Psalm 139: 13-14

Welcome to Knowling!

Look around you; take a few breaths. Let go of any tension you may be carrying. Allow yourself to just be with God and savour His presence. Reflect on the verse above.

Prayer is having an honest conversation with God. It can be about anything and everything. Make this time with God yours.

He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He.
Deuteronomy 32:4

Reflect on one or more of God’s characteristics listed in the verse above and give God all the glory and praise in prayer.

Move on to the next station when ready.

Knowling’s story

2012 saw the birth of a fourth House, the purple house, which was officially named Knowling House in 2014. Knowling House was named after an Old Girl and great humanitarian, Dr Mary Knowling (read up about her here). Located on the east side of the campus along Worcester Street, Knowling encompasses both a refurbished Greystone House and a new wing. For more info on Greystone and Josie Wood, click here.

Knowling is the teen of the Houses at only twelve years old, which means the girls are carving its legacy as the years pass by. As you enter the gates of the school, you are welcomed by this beautiful home and the bustling of activity from the Knowling Girls in Green.
