DSG Junior School: Let the children come

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”                                                                       Matthew 19: 14

Slow down, find a place to sit. Allow yourself to simply be with Jesus and enjoy His presence.

Meditate on the verse above.

The God of Gods and Lords of Lords, the great and mighty God wants to be with you!

As you reflect on the verse, chat to God for a few moments. You may want to tell Him about the steps you’d like to start taking to show Him that you love Him too. Feel His love pour over you.

When ready, you may use the following prayer as a point of reflection:

Dear Father, I love to be in Your presence. Today, I want to honour You with every thought, idea, and action. Change me into the person You want me to be. Let my whole life honour You and bring You glory. Take my life and use it to do Your Will.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DSG Junior: strong in voice, small in size

The DSG Junior School has been part of the DSG for as long as it has been in existence. It even schooled the St Andrew’s Prep boys before they became a school of their own.

In 2012, the girls moved from the Josie Wood building to the current Junior School building by literally carrying their desks and chairs across the campus. The Junior School now has ample playground space for the girls to freely laugh, sing and dance to their heart’s content; when it’s time to focus, the girls have the luxury of spacious classrooms which are equipped with modern technology.
